Description:

This session addresses the role of safety leaders in building and executing strategic direction for occupational safety and health programs. Dr. Abe Tarawneh, superintendent of BWC's Division of Safety and Hygiene (DSH), discusses strategies for establishing vision, cultivating leadership support, engaging stakeholders and employees, and leading change. He discusses the expansion of existing and introduction of new DSH programs to demonstrate the value of these strategies.
