The presenters provide information on occupational injuries and illnesses statistics in the Ohio health-care industry from 2012 to 2015. They use data from the Survey of Occupational Injuries and Illnesses and other sources. They discuss common characteristics of injuries such as nature, source and causation. In addition, they offer recommendations on safety interventions and other prevention methods to use to reduce the incidence of these injuries.
