This session provides information on occupational injuries and illnesses statistics in major private industry sectors in Ohio from 2012 and 2015 using data from the Survey of Occupational Injuries and Illnesses and other sources. The session also provides information on common characteristics of injuries such as nature, source and causation. The presentation includes recommendations on safety interventions and other prevention methods available to reduce the incidence of these injuries.
