He looks at both the civil liability and the criminal liability of safety personnel under federal law and Ohio law. This presentation addresses the civil and criminal liability of the safety person. However, keep in mind that those individuals who perform human resources functions, or who have employment related authority or responsibilities over and above pure safety functions may have a separate and real liability.
