Description:

This session assists emergency medical services personnel to be confident and comfortable in the care of youth athletes. The presenter emphasizes identifying traumatic brain injuries (concussions) and second impact injury. He also discusses identification of spinal injuries, down athlete, fractures and heat-related injuries.
