Description:

Mental health concerns are one of the most salient and perceived barriers when employers consider hiring veterans. In most cases, these concerns are rooted in a misperception of what veterans experience during their military service. This presentation gives participants a working knowledge of mental health situation associated with veterans. It also provides the demographics of Ohio’s veteran population and employment resources for hiring veterans.
