The presenter discusses BWC's Other States Coverage Program. The program is an option for Ohio employers who send employees out of state that the laws of that state require the employer to obtain coverage there. The session provides an overview of the legislation authorizing the program, the eligibility requirements and how an employer obtains this optional coverage. Learning Objectives: Explain when employers must obtain coverage for employees working temporarily in Ohio and when Ohio coverage applies Identify situations where employers can use Ohio's extraterritorial coverage when the laws of other states require coverage for employees Describe BWC's Other State's Coverage Program Recall the available options for workers' compensation coverage outside the state of Ohio
