This session provides an overview of the financial impact a claim can have on BWC premium rates. The presenters explain what an employer needs to know and do when a claim is filed. They also share the policies and procedures an employer should have in place before an accident occurs. In addition, the presenters describe what steps an employer should take after an injury occurs. This information allows an employer to implement effective strategies to minimize the financial impact of the claim and ensure that injured workers receive appropriate treatment.
