Description:

Workplace violence is what the media captures in 10-minute soundbites for the evening news. The hostage situation, explosion, shooting and/or loss of life is what draws the public's attention. However, at the workplace, the day-to-day problems that cause work flow slowdown or lower morale are the more commonplace difficulties we cope with on an ongoing basis. These problems include cultural insensitivities, objectionable personal hygiene, politically and gender offensive remarks, and over or under reaction to the inappropriate and insensitive behavior of others. This presentation helps you drill down to the core of the underlying problem in an effective and non-confrontational way.

Explain underlying behaviors that lead to unwanted behaviors
Identify the most effective approach to take in response to the unwanted behavior
