Participants work for state-fund employers and have an injury date on or after July 1, 2015. These injured workers sustained a knee-only workplace injury and received treatment from a physician enrolled in the pilot program. Benefits of the pilot program include simplifying the workers' compensation process, improving outcomes for injured workers, reducing costs for employers and increasing physician reimbursement. The presenter discusses pilot program results and successes.
