This session provides an overview of how BWC calculates premium rates, including experience modifier (EM). The presenters share several actions that an employer can take to develop an effective integrated approach to manage workers' compensation costs. This information allows an employer to identify and implement appropriate risk management, loss prevention and claims-management strategies to minimize the financial impact claims may have on their rates.
