The National Safety Council adopted the CFOI figure beginning in 1992 as the authoritative count for work-related deaths in the United States. The presenters provide a general overview of the scope of the CFOI program and processes, which lead to compiling counts. They also demonstrate availablity of data access on the BLS public website.
