Description:

Relationships are best built face to face. However, some people don't react well to the police because of real or preceived concerns. The Columbus Chief of Police discusses in-person community outreach techniques used by diversity and inclusion liaisons to reach people that may be inclined to fear or avoid police. She shares outreach success stories, character traits of the diversity and inclusion liaisons. She also explains how she introduced the need for these liaisons to her staff.
