Speaker: Ken Montgomery, OSHA Area Director, Cincinnati Area OSHA Office Montgomery has been employed with OSHA for more than 15 years; 12 years as a compliance officer, three years as an assistant area director and has been area director since April of 2015. He has conducted more than 900 site inspections, 60 fatality investigations and numerous accident investigations. His inspections were primarily in construction. He is listed as a regional expert for trenching, cranes and road construction, as well as an original member of the Wind Energy Task Team. He is classified to testify as an expert witness for road construction in federal court. Prior to OSHA, Montgomery worked in the construction field for 15 years. He has been on the Federal Emergency Response Team since 2001, which responded to the World Trade Center disaster, Hurricane Katrina in 2005 and most recently Hurricane Sandy.
