Speaker: Jeff Little, Regional Business Consultant, Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation
Little started his career with BWC in the mid-1990s. He then spent 19 years working for a third-party administrator before returning to BWC in July 2015. Little’s duties as a business consultant include working with employers in Delaware, Franklin, Licking, Madison and Union counties to implement proven risk-management strategies through various cost-control programs. He also partners with trade associations and local chambers of commerce to share updates and bring industry feedback to BWC executive management while focusing on growth and retention of business in Ohio. Little has more than 20 years of experience in Ohio workers’ compensation. He has worked with employers to manage claims, assist with overall risk management, and meet with key company personnel to implement policy improvements and various BWC alternative programs. In addition, Little has worked with state universities, professional employer organizations, business associations and chambers of commerce to assist members in managing their workers’ compensation exposure. Little obtained his Bachelor of Arts in journalism from The Ohio State University, earning a major in public relations and a minor in political science. He also holds the associate in risk management insurance designation through the American Institute of Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters.
