Speaker: Megan Schabbing, M.D., Medical Director of Psychiatric Emergency Services, OhioHealth Dr. Schabbing did her undergraduate work at the University of Arizona, during which time she obtained an EMT-B certification and worked as an emergency department technician. She completed medical school at St. George’s University and her residency in psychiatry at Washington University in St. Louis where her research focus was suicide. She joined faculty at The Ohio State University department of psychiatry, prior to joining OhioHealth, where she serves as medical director of psychiatric emergency services. Dr. Schabbing’s areas of interest include emergency psychiatry, malingering, suicide and homicide risk assessment, and psychopharmacology.
