Philemond is a partner at Scott Scriven LLP. She has defended more than 90 school districts in cases dealing with issues such as discrimination, equal protection, bullying, Title IX, 42 U.S.C. 1983, retaliation, sexual harassment, and others. She has won jury trials on behalf of her clients in both state and federal court and has won many cases prior to trial. She is a member of the Ohio Council of School Board Attorneys. Philemond received her bachelor’s degree in finance from Miami University and her Juris Doctorate from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law.
