Jonathan Zimmerman has over 17 years of experience in the Environmental, Health, and Safety fields. He obtained both his BS and MS degrees in Environmental and Safety Management from The University of Findlay (Ohio). Mr. Zimmerman has also earned his CHMM and CSP certifications. . Mr. Zimmerman has filled various EHS roles in the Food Manufacturing, Chemical, and Automotive Parts Supplier industries. He has developed and directed EHS programs at the corporate level, as well as directly implementing these same programs where the rubber meets the road at the facility level. Jonathan has been involved in Process Safety Management/Risk Management Plan, Air Permitting, Wastewater Treatment and Compliance, Ergonomics, and Writing and Implementing OSHA programs. He has been actively involved in developing and fostering culture change and fresh ideas in environmental, health, and safety. Jonathan has developed both environmental and safety management systems and audited them to ensure compliance. He developed environmental management systems at multiple facilities that ultimately achieved ISO 14001 certification. He enthusiastically promotes safety at home and in the workplace 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. He teaches and leads by example whenever the door is opened to do so. Jonathan is the President and Past President of the Southwest Ohio Chapter of ASSE and has served as the environmental committee chair for the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce. Jonathan has presented at ASSE Central Indiana PDC (2015, 2016), ASSE Safety 2014, 2015 and 2016, Ohio Safety Congress (2016) and various ASSE Chapter Meetings.
