Melissa Linton began working for the Occupational Safety and Health Administration in August 2001. She became the Compliance Assistance Specialist (CAS) for the Columbus Area office in October 2011. As the CAS, she performs outreach, training and works with companies as a part of OSHA’s Voluntary Protection Program. She previously worked as a Compliance Officer for ten years specializing in industrial hygiene in construction and general industry. She is a graduate of Ohio University with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences. She received her Master in Business Administration from Ohio Dominican University in 2014. She received her certification as an Occupational Health and Safety Technologist in 2005.
