Dr. Rezai is the associate dean of neuroscience and the director of the Neurological Institute at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. Dr. Rezai is a board certified neurosurgeon with clinical expertise in neurosurgical management of patients with Parkinson’s disease, dystonia, chronic pain, brain and spinal cord injuries, spasticity, as well as severe mood and anxiety disorders. His research focuses on neural circuitry and the development of neurosurgical sensors and monitors, surgical tools and technologies. In addition, his research focuses on new therapeutic applications such as neurostimulation for Parkinson’s disease, mood and anxiety disorders among others. For the past 15 years, he has been named one of the best doctors in America in Castle and Connolly’s Guide to America’s Top Doctors.
