Throughout his career in labor and employment law, Fleischauer has represented and counseled employers, ranging from small businesses to private equity firms to Fortune 100 companies. For more than 25 years, he has helped clients avoid and defend cases before state and federal courts, arbitratorsand administrative agencies, including cases arising under the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, Title VII and state anti-discrimination laws, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, Ohio's Workers' Compensation Retaliation Statute, the Fair Labor Standards Act, and the National Labor Relations Act. Fleischauer serves as chair of Coolidge Wall's labor and employment department. He earned his senior professional in human resources designation from the Human Resources Certification Institute in 2007 and maintains an AV® Pre-eminentTM rating from Martindale-Hubbell. He was included in Ohio Super Lawyers®, as a Rising Stars attorney in 2005 and, thereafter, in the field of employment and labor. He also has been listed in Best Lawyers in America® in the fields of labor law management and employment law management every year since 2008. Fleischauer is a graduate of The College of Wooster. He received his juris doctorate from the Florida State University College of Law. He is licensed to practice in Ohio, Kentucky, and Florida.
