Speaker: Lewis Horner, Assistant Bureau Chief, Ohio Department of Job and Family Services, Office of Workforce Development
Lew Horner is an assistant bureau chief in ODJFS’ Office of Workforce Development, Bureau of Labor Market Information where he oversees programs under the Workforce Information Grant from the U.S. Department of Labor. Lew knows what the labor market is like: he’s been downsized twice and changed career several times. Before coming to ODJFS he worked as a draftsman in a machine shop, a medical technologist doing blood analyses, and conducted survey research for two Big 10 universities and a major metro newspaper.
