Burdiss serves as the president of Preparedness Solutions Inc. where he travels the country helping emergency managers and business continuity professionals prepare for, respond to, and recover from emergencies and disasters through exercise design and emergency operations center consulting. Burdiss is a certified emergency manager and a Federal Emergency Management Administration (FEMA)- recognized master exercise practitioner. Burdiss has experience designing and facilitating exercises for county, state, and federal agency clients as well as corporate, military, and Major League Baseball customers. He completed the FEMA National Emergency Management Executive Academy in 2017. Burdiss has a bachelor’s degree in emergency and disaster management and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership.
