Darlene Carpenter is the human resources manager for Cascade Corporation and is known for her creative approach to employee relations. Her career in human resources, safety, training, and employee career development spans 30 years, primarily in manufacturing, but also in health care and retail. She has served as an adjunct instructor at Clark State Community College, is a safety council board member, and is heavily involved in the community serving on various boards and committees. She received her bachelor's degree in psychology and business management from Wright State University, and her master's degree from Central Michigan University. She is Senior Professional in Human Resources and Society for Human Resources - Senior Certified Professional certified, as well as a certified Red Cross Instructor and Occupational Safety and Health 10- and 30-hour instructor.
