Speaker: Amy Ahmer, IME Coordinator, MedQuest Evaluators IME
Ahmer started her workers’ compensation career in November 1990 at the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation as a file clerk. She quickly moved into a claim representative position, and after two years, was promoted to a claims trainer position. Her final position was in a supervisory role until January of 1996. In January of 1996, she started working for Pencheff and Fraley, as a paralegal, handling their workers’ compensation claims. After three and a half years, she took a hearing representative position at CompManagement Inc. After five years of taking hearings and seeing the tremendous need for an independent medical exam company that understood Ohio workers’ compensation, Amy started MedQuest Evaluators. MedQuest Evaluators has been successfully servicing Ohio employers for all their medical exam and file review needs for 16 years. Ahmer holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the Mt. Vernon Nazarene University and graduated cum laude.
