Knight has more than 20 years in diversity, equity, and inclusion work, she is passionate about creating cultural understanding, awareness, and sensitivity to help individuals be advocates for themselves and others. She holds in high regard creating open spaces of inclusion through meaningful dialogue by ensuring all voices are heard, respected, and valued. While this type of work is not considered easy, as founder and CEO of The Knight Consulting Group LLC, she comes highly recommended by her clients in the work she has done with and for their communities. In this work, she coaches clients and partners with organizations to support sustainable DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) practices through developing and implementing strategy that reaches across their entire organization. Recognized nationally and internationally, she is the recipient of the 2019 Pacesetter Award from Otterbein University, named one of 2018 Women Worth Watching @Profiles in Diversity Journal and was awarded the 2014 Multicultural Institute/Agency Award from the National Association for Multicultural Education. Knight is a native of Columbus, graduated from Eastmoor High School and completed her Bachelor of Arts at Otterbein University, where she proudly serves on the Alumni Council. She holds a master’s degree with an endorsement in technology and a doctoral degree in social studies and global education, with a focus in cultural competency and technology, both from The Ohio State University.
