Speaker: Jeff Bates, Ph.D., CHMM, Professor, Columbus State Community College
Bates is a professor and program coordinator for the environmental science, safety, and health program at Columbus State Community College. He teaches a variety of environmental science and safety courses. He formerly worked as an environmental consultant, with his primary expertise in hydrology. Bates earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University at Buffalo (SUNY), Master of Science from Bowling Green State University, and a doctorate from The Ohio State University, all in geology.
