Speaker: Kristie Shipley, Environmental Specialist, Ohio Environmental Protection Agency
Shipley works for the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in the division of environmental response and revitalization, specifically the hazardous waste program. She has experience answering regulatory questions from the general public and working on escalated enforcement cases. Prior to joining the Ohio EPA, Shipley spent 10 years as an environmental consultant where she gained experience in hazardous waste auditing, training, and reporting. She has a bachelor’s degree in environmental science and policy from the University of South Florida.
