Powell has worked in the health-care field for 15 years in central Ohio. He is certified as a health-care safety professional and a medical laboratory technician. He has worked as a safety officer for five years, creating structured and organized safety and emergency management programs during that time. Powell is a four-year member and current chair for the Health-care Facilities Committee for the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation. He has co-presented on topics that include returning to normal after a crisis hits your business and planning for the worst to continue business operations.
