Weston is a doctoral student in integrated systems engineering at The Ohio State University and currently works as a graduate research associate in the Spine Research Institute at Ohio State. He received his master’s in industrial and systems engineering from The Ohio State University in 2016. He has been heavily involved in Ohio Occupational Safety and Health Research Program projects through the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation (BWC) during his time as a graduate student. He was the primary researcher involved in the development of biomechanically-determined pushing and pulling guidelines and one-handed lifting guidelines.
