Speaker: Ryan Towns, Complaince Safety and Health Officer, Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation - Public Employment Risk Reduction Program
Towns joined the Bureau of Workers’ Compensation (BWC) in January 2016. Prior to joining BWC, he worked in county and city government assisting with regulatory compliance in the environmental, occupational, and food safety fields. In his role with the Public Employment Risk Reduction Program, he promotes safe workplaces and the prevention of injuries and illnesses by raising awareness of occupational safety and health hazards as well as performing industrial hygiene duties and compliance investigations. Towns is a registered sanitarian with the State of Ohio. He graduated from Ohio University in 2009 with a bachelor's in industrial hygiene and environmental health.
