Speaker: Jeff Little, ARM, Regional Business Consultant, Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation
Little's duties as a business consultant, include working with employers in the Central Ohio region to implement proven risk-management strategies through various cost-control programs. He also partners with trade associations and local chambers to share updates and bring industry feedback to Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation (BWC) executive management while focusing on growth and retention of business in Ohio. During his 25 years of experience with BWC, he has worked with employers to manage claims, assist with overall risk management, and met with key company personnel to implement policy improvements and various BWC alternative programs. Little has also worked with state universities and professional employer organizations, as well as business associations and chambers of commerce to assist members in managing their workers’ compensation exposure. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts in journalism from The Ohio State University earning a major in public relations and a minor in political science. He also holds the associate's in risk management insurance designation through the American Institute of Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters.
