Speaker: Todd Spence, ARM, Employer Management Supervisor, Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation
Spence has more than 22 years of experience at the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation (BWC) and five years of senior management experience at third-party administrators, his extensive workers’ compensation background provides him with an understanding of employer issues and challenges faced by BWC customers. His work in several positions at BWC has allowed him to center his efforts on helping companies implement proven risk-management strategies offered by the agency. While at BWC, he has participated in several projects that improved its services, such as internal system updates, new cost reduction programs, and the initial rollout of BWC’s website. He earned his Bachelor of Science in business administration from The Ohio State University and a master's in business administration from Otterbein University. With his associate in risk management insurance designation, Spence’s education and experience provide a solid approach to identifying solutions and offering successful cost-control alternatives.
