Speaker: Christine Williams, Business Consultant, Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation
Williams has been with the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation (BWC) for more than 25 years. She first served as an employer services specialist, where she assisted employers in complying with BWC programs such as the Premium Discount Program and the Drug Free Workplace Program. She currently serves as the regional business consultant in four northeastern Ohio counties, where she acts as a liaison between BWC and area employers, using her extensive workers’ compensation and technical expertise to assist employers in the development and implementation of effective risk management strategies. Williams' business consultant duties include working with employers in cost control programs, teaching classes at BWC’s Youngstown Service Office and the Ohio Safety and Health Expo in Columbus, as well as conducting presentations for employer groups, including local chambers and safety councils.
