Speaker: Drew Evans, Manager Safety and Security, Mount Carmel Health Systems
Drew Evans is the System Manager of Safety and Security for Mount Carmel Health System. Mount Carmel Health System is composed of four central Ohio hospitals — Mount Carmel East, Mount Carmel West, Mount Carmel St. Ann’s and Mount Carmel New Albany. As an integrated health system, Mount Carmel also offers free-standing emergency departments, surgery centers, outpatient facilities, physician offices and community outreach services. Drew began his career at Mount Carmel’s St. Ann’s campus in January of 2004 as a Security Officer. Drew worked his way up through the organization and held jobs as Security Officer, Training Sergeant, Shift Supervisor, Department Supervisor, Site Operations Manager, and now System Manager. In his current role Drew oversee Valet Service, Shuttle Service, and Safety and Security operations. Drew earned his Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration from Franklin University and an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Law Enforcement from Columbus State. Drew currently holds instructor level certifications in the areas of Certified Aggression Management (CAM) and Active Shooter Response Instructor (ALiCE). Drew is also a graduate of Leadership Westerville.
