Jeff Davis is the principal of Fleet Safety Services, LLC, a premiere motor carrier’s safety management company specializing in safety regulation compliance and CSA safety management plans. Jeff has over 25 years of motor carrier safety and compliance experience and is a certified director of safety. He has served as chairman of the Truckload Carriers Association - Safety and Security Division, as well as the Ohio Trucking Association Safety Council. Jeff Davis is a recipient of the nationally recognized Truckload Carriers Association Safety Professional of the Year award, as well as being a past recipient of the Safety Professional of the Year Award for the State of Ohio. Mostly recently, Jeff has been selected as one of the “Innovator of the Year” finalists by the Commercial Carrier Journal for his work on managing driver performance in view of CSA. In addition, Jeff has appeared numerous times on satellite radio, sharing safety tips with truck drivers and the motoring public. Mr. Davis is considered one of the foremost experts on CSA. He has worked on-site at the Volpe Institute, the developers of the CSA system, and has given numerous safety presentations to trucking and insurance companies throughout the United States and Canada. Jeff has developed numerous unique training presentations for the trucking industry including the multi-media productions of: “The Baker’s Dozen,” and “Safestat: Controlling Fleet Performance.” Additionally, in conjunction with the University of Kentucky Bio Statistics Department, Mr. Davis has developed and conducted a comprehensive study on “Fleet Management Techniques for Obstructive Sleep Apnea.”
