Credit types

All OSC 2020 sessions are approved for continuing education credit by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET). 

These organizations recognize IACET credit:

  • Board of Certified Safety Professionals
  • American Board of Industrial Hygiene
  • Institute for Safety & Health Management

Proof of Attendance

To earn credit for continuing education or BWC rebate programs you must:

  1. Arrive at the session on time. Doors will close 10 minutes after the session begins. Late arrivals will not be admitted. BWC will grant no exceptions;
     
  2. Remain in the session for its entirety;
     
  3. Scan your badge at the end of each session. This is proof of your attendance at the session. This is the only method to identify the sessions you attend;
     
  4. Visit your Attendee Service Center, complete a session survey and print a certificate of attendance. You may do so for up to 14 days after the event.
     
  5. Submit your attendance certificate to your professional organization, accrediting agency, BWC representative, group rating administrator or local safety council.
 
     
   

** OhioHealth Emergency Medical Services is approved by the State of Ohio Department of Public Safety, Division of EMS as a Continuing Education Provider (Approval #2084).
** Registered nurse (RN) – The Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation is an approved provider through the Ohio Nurses Association  an accredited approver of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation, (OBN-001-91) (OH-188).
