"Temporary staffing agencies and host employers share control over the employee and are therefore jointly responsible for temporary employee's safety and health. It is essential that both employers comply with all relevant Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements." This statement represents OSHA’s emphasis on the importance of ensuring temporary workers are provided the same high level of safety and health as permanent workers. This session presents the issues and highlights employers’ responsibilities.
