Speaker: Linda Elswick, RN , CEO, Nurse, Elsmart Associates LLC
Elswick, RN, BSN is the CEO of ELSMART Associates LLC. Her experience includes being a unit team leader and staff nurse of a 30-bed unit. This included direct care of patients, daily assignments of nursing staff, placement of transfers, admissions, and surgeries and assignment to appropriate staff members. She also assisted managers with service recovery of patient/family members, communications on day-to-day operations, and collected information to maintain compliance with Joint Commission accreditation and hospital policy. In her current role, she supports and successfully delivers outcomes for case management in areas of work-related injury triage, non-occupational disability (STD and LTD), FMLA, ADA, drug and alcohol/substance control, absence management, workers’ compensation, and medical clearance services. Her education includes an Associate Degree in nursing, Owens Community College and a Bachelor of Science in nursing, Purdue University.
