Speaker: George Shaw, Safety Director, Ascent Safety Solutions
Shaw is a skilled and widely experienced safety director with more than a 20-year track record of promoting compliance strategies that mitigate risks while being mindful of the bottom line. He has demonstrated success analyzing processes and implementing solutions that reduce hazards while improving safety culture. George has been a certified safety professional since 2008, gaining his expertise while working in the automotive, food, and electronics manufacturing industries. He has also developed an understanding of a wide variety of in both general industry and construction while working as a safety director in the staffing industry. He is authorized to perform the Occupational Safety and Health Administration 10- and 30-hour training for construction. Shaw holds a Bachelor of Science from Wright State and a Master of Science from University of Cincinnati in environmental science.
