Speaker: Mark Plucinski, Safety and Occupational Health Specialist, Sheakley Workforce Management Services
Plucinski is currently a safety consultant with Sheakley Workforce Management Services. He has 39 years of experience in manufacturing, academia, and consulting. In his consulting capacity, he has worked with both general industry and construction clients in a variety of industries and applications. Plucinski is an Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) authorized general industry trainer. He has taught many different topic-specific safety standard classes, including machine guarding, electrical safety, bloodborne pathogens, and ergonomic best practices, as well as OSHA 10-hour and 30-hour general industry classes and forklift certifications. Plucinski is also a certified first aid/CPR/AED instructor through the American Safety and Health Institute. As part of his consulting experience he has initiated or taken part in risk assessments in general industry, construction safety, and environmental compliance. He has worked with OSHA on both the compliance services and enforcement side, assisting clients through the OSHA audit violation process.
