Billman-Kotsko has been with the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for 26 years. She is the manager for emergency response and prior to that she was a responder cleaning-up Ohio of abandoned containers; she has remediated thousands of containers for the Ohio EPA. She has a bachelor's degree in chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. Billman-Kotsko’s experience with hazmat, disposal, and emergency response as well as her chemistry background bring a science and real-world experience to the Ohio EPA's emergency response program.
