Clendenin is responsible for advancing strategy initiatives in northeastern Ohio by promoting Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation (BWC) programs to employers and collaborating with them on problem solving and identification of opportunities to substantially benefit from BWC’s programs and services. He has more than 30 years of experience in both the public and private sectors. His background encompasses nearly every aspect of the industry, including risk management, public and private accounting, manufacturing, construction, financial services, and education. Clendenin serves on the board of the Stark County Hunger Task Force, the Stark County Opiate Task Force, the Rotary Club of Canton, the Walsh University Advisory Board, the Jackson Township Recycling Board, and is actively involved in Tru2U, Rotary International, the Chamber of Commerce, Habitat for Humanity, and the Akron Canton Regional Food Bank.
