Speaker: Tom Murray, President/COO, iReportSource
Murray has had the privilege of serving in several leadership capacities over the years. He spent the early part of his career in a large Cincinnati based corporation (subsidiary company of Chemed) in sales and operations. Subsequently, Murray was one of three principals in a high-tech startup, bringing a new device to market in the spa industry. In 2000, he landed at a nationwide food plant sanitation services company (DCS Sanitation Mgmt, Inc – based in Cincinnati) and served as President of that organization for 13 years. There were about 1,600 employees across the US. In 2013 we sold to our largest competitor where he then served as a Senior Vice President for three years, over about 4,000 employees covering the eastern third of the U.S. Over the last few years, Musrry has consulted with three high-tech start-ups on operations, business development and general strategic issues. He is now the President and COO at iReportSource, a software solution for employee safety and claims management. On a more personal note, he is very passionate about employee safety and understanding where technology can help organizations improve that every single day: - Improving better claims cost management through technology. - Improving efficient verification of training and safety practices through technology. - Improving safety outcomes through technology. - And most of all, enhancing and supporting the growth of a healthy safety culture in an organization, through technology. Over the course of his 16 years in food plant sanitation, where everyday safety practices are critical, they always have a saying: “It’s our job as leaders to make sure our people go home to their families the same way they came in!” And what’s really cool these days is… - There’s an app for that!!!
