Heather is currently a Safex Project Manager overseeing industrial hygiene and safety staff. Her responsibilities include indoor air quality, plant product request approval, training, and industrial hygiene monitoring. In addition she has conducted industrial hygiene assessments in multiple industries that include developing industrial hygiene sampling schemes, calibrating industrial hygiene equipment, conducting air and personal industrial hygiene monitoring, submitting samples to laboratories, and interpreting analytical data.
Heather has led training courses for Hazard Communication 2012, Recordkeeping, the OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER, OSHA 10-hour for General Industry and Construction, industrial hygiene monitoring, bloodborne pathogens, Department of Transportation (DOT) Shipping Hazardous Materials regulations and International Air Transport Authority (IATA) Dangerous Goods regulations, ergonomics, respirator programs workshop, PPE selection, noise/hearing conservation, and climate-related injuries. Heather provides support for the AIHA Fundamentals of Industrial Hygiene and the Beyond IH Fundamentals courses.
